The idea behind this head is to give our fellow guitarists an amp that can be gigged or used in the studio with unrivalled ease of use, total flexibility and no pratting about - boutique amp quality with all the guitar sounds that all of us guitarists are hearing in our heads but are struggling like crazy to find. The ethic is to provide awesome guitar sounds, superlative quality, affordable prices to our fellow guitarists.

Included with all of our heads are a handmade double footswitch - 14 gauge, powder coated metal with LED indicators for overdrive and master 2, top quality 8mm cable wired to switchcraft nickel plated stereo jack; mains lead - 10 feet long (at least it'll reach the floor if you're using two cabinets), moulded plugs each end; speaker lead - 2 feet top quality 8mm cable with nickel plated Switchcraft jacks and a guitar lead - 15 feet top quality Van Damme spiral screen cable with nickel plated Switchcraft jacks.

We supply this so that nothing interferes with the way a Cornford should sound - it makes a refreshing change as most manufacturers give you nothing.

Spec: 50 watt all valve head. One channel with footswitchable master volumes and gain/overdrive (effectively the same as most companies 2 channel amps).

Valves: 2 x 5881, 4 x 12AX7WA

Hardware: All corners, screws, cup washers, handle fixings etc are nickel plated. Grills are bespoke CNC punched and powder coated. 14 gauge (2mm) powder coated chassis with 14 gauge base / screening plate secured to chassis with 4 machine screws. Leather handle.

Transformers: Custom designed in house and hand wound.

Controls: Chicken Head knobs. Metal toggle main switches. 2 x inputs (hi and lo). Front panel from left to right:- Volume/Gain, Overdrive (footswichable extra gain with red LED indicator), Bass, Middle, Treble, Master 1, Master 2 (footswitchable for volume lift, power amp, tonal differences etc. with green LED indicator), Presence, Resonance, Standby, Mains. Rear Panel from left to right:- Mains Inlet, Mains Fuse, H.T. Fuse, Speaker Impedance Selector 4, 8 or 16 ohms, Series Effects Loop send and Return, Footswitch Socket.
